Terms and conditions
Last updated 30 Sept 2026
These terms govern your use of allChained. By using the site you accept them. If you do not, please do not use the site. Our privacy policy forms part of these terms and explains what we do with personal data.
1. Who may use allChained
The site is built for finance professionals and is not directed at children. You must be at least 18 and able to enter a contract. If you use allChained for an employer, you confirm you are authorised to accept these terms on its behalf.
2. Your account
Most of the site is readable without an account. An account is needed to save a watchlist, run alerts or take part in discussions. You can create one with an email address and a password, or by signing in with Google, in which case Google confirms your identity to us and we receive your email address and the name on that account. Keep your credentials to yourself: anything done through your account is treated as done by you, and you should tell us promptly if you think someone else has access.
Accounts are personal. Do not share one across a team, and do not create an account using someone else’s identity or email address. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, and you may close yours at any time.
3. What the data is, and what it is not
This build runs on an illustrative dataset. Every figure on the site is a seeded snapshot modelled on public disclosures. It is not live market data, and it is not a record of any real position, price or balance at any moment in time. The data model, the provenance chain and the methodology are built as they would be for production; the values are not. Do not rely on any number here as a current fact about a real product.
Nothing here is advice. allChained is an information and research tool. Nothing on it is investment, legal, tax or accounting advice, an offer or solicitation to buy or sell anything, or a recommendation of any product, issuer or strategy. Classification and eligibility fields, including anything produced by the decision tools, are our own classifications of public documents, not a legal determination of whether you may buy something. Verify against the offering documents and take your own professional advice before acting.
We aim for accuracy and do not guarantee it. Our methodology sets out how sources are graded, how figures are calculated and what is deliberately excluded from coverage. Coverage is limited to named jurisdictions and asset classes, and a product’s absence from the site means only that it is outside that boundary or not yet recorded.
4. What you may do with the content
We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the site and to use its content for your own internal research, including reasonable use in internal analysis and reports. Please attribute allChained where you quote it.
You may not:
- scrape, crawl or bulk-extract the dataset, or use automated means to copy it beyond the exports we provide;
- republish, resell, sublicense or redistribute the dataset, or use it to build a competing data product;
- use the content to train a machine-learning model without our written permission;
- remove or obscure any provenance, attribution or disclaimer we attach to a figure;
- circumvent access controls, rate limits or the sign-in requirement on any part of the site;
- use the site in a way that damages it, interferes with anyone else’s use of it, or breaks the law.
5. Discussions and anything else you post
Comments on intelligence events are public and attributed to your display name. You keep ownership of what you post, and you grant us a worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, display and distribute it on the site so that we can operate the discussion.
You are responsible for what you post, and you confirm you have the right to post it. Do not post anything unlawful, defamatory, misleading, abusive, or confidential to someone else, and do not post market-sensitive information you are not free to disclose. We may hide or remove a comment, and may suspend an account, where we consider these terms broken. Removing a comment erases its text; a placeholder may remain so replies keep their place, and we keep a moderation record so the decision stays auditable.
Comments are the views of the people who write them, not ours, and we do not endorse them.
6. Availability and changes
This is an early build. We may change, suspend or withdraw any part of the site, including features, coverage and data, at any time and without notice. We do not promise the site will be uninterrupted or error-free, and we may take it down for maintenance.
7. Our intellectual property
The site, its design, its software, its methodology and the compiled dataset are ours or our licensors’, and are protected by intellectual property law. The underlying facts about public products and institutions are not ours; the selection, structure, normalisation and presentation of them are. Third-party names and logos belong to their owners and appear here to identify the entities described.
8. Third-party links and services
The site links to issuer documents, regulator registers, block explorers and other external sources. We do not control them and are not responsible for their content or their availability. Signing in with Google is subject to Google’s own terms.
9. Disclaimers and liability
The site and its content are provided “as is”. To the fullest extent the law allows, we exclude implied warranties, including of accuracy, fitness for a particular purpose and uninterrupted availability.
We accept no liability for any loss arising from your use of the site or from reliance on anything published on it. That includes investment and trading losses, lost profits, lost revenue, lost or corrupted data, business interruption, and any indirect or consequential loss, whether or not we were told such loss was possible. You use the site, its figures and its tools at your own risk and on your own judgement.
10. Ending your use
You may stop using the site and close your account at any time. We may suspend or end your access if you break these terms or if we withdraw the service. Sections that by their nature should survive, including sections 3, 7 and 9, continue to apply afterwards.
11. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as the product develops. We will change the date at the top, and where a change materially affects your rights we will tell account holders before it takes effect. Continuing to use the site after that means you accept the updated terms.
