allChained

Privacy policy

Last updated 30 Sept 2026

This policy explains what allChained collects when you use this website, where it is held, and what you can do about it. In short: you can read most of the site without an account; an account is needed to save a watchlist, run alerts, take part in discussions or hold a subscription; and there are no analytics and no third-party trackers anywhere on the site.

1. Who we are

allChained is a research platform covering tokenized funds, stablecoins, deposit tokens and securities issued in the United States, the European Union, Singapore, the United Kingdom, Switzerland, Hong Kong SAR and the United Arab Emirates. That list describes the market we cover, not where we are established. In this policy, “we” and “us” mean the operator of this website, and “you” means anyone visiting it.

2. Information we collect, and who holds it

Browsing needs no account. The screener, product and institution pages, the relationship graph, the methodology, all three decision tools, the blog and the pricing page are open to anyone, and using them tells us nothing about who you are.

Your account is held by our authentication service. When you register, your email address and password go to that service, which stores the password only as a one-way hash and issues the session token this site puts in a cookie. This website never receives your password or a hash of it, and holds no signing secret of its own. If you sign in with Google instead, Google confirms your identity to that service and we receive your email address, the name on the Google account, and confirmation that the address is verified. We do not receive or store a profile picture, your contacts, or anything else from your Google account.

This website holds what you build here. Attached to your account, we store the display name you choose, your subscription plan and the dates it changed, the products, institutions and networks on your watchlist, and the alert rules you create.

Discussions are public. If you comment on an intelligence event we store what you wrote, when, whether it has been edited, and your display name, which is shown to anyone who can read the discussion. We also store reports other members make about a comment and any moderation action taken on it. Deleting a comment removes its text; a placeholder may remain so that replies beneath it keep their place.

Server logs. Like any website, our servers receive the technical information your browser sends in order to load a page: the address you requested, your IP address, your browser and operating system, the page you came from, and the time of the request. We use it to serve the site and keep it available and secure. We do not use it to build a profile of you and we do not combine it with anything else.

We do not ask for your telephone number or postal address. This build takes no payments, so we hold no card details.

3. Cookies and browser storage

We do not use advertising or tracking cookies, and nothing we store follows you to other websites. The site keeps a small number of items in your browser, and each one does one of three jobs:

Your watchlist and alerts are not in that list. They used to be kept in your browser and are now saved to your account instead, so that they follow you between devices. That means we hold a copy, and it is covered by section 8.

You can delete everything above at any time by clearing site data for this domain in your browser settings. Doing so signs you out and resets the site to its defaults.

The site loads no third-party scripts, pixels, advertising tags or web fonts. Every image and logo is served from this domain.

4. How we use information

We use your account details to sign you in and to show you your own saved lists and alerts. We use your display name to attribute your comments. We use technical information only to operate the site, diagnose faults and protect it from abuse. We do not use any of it for advertising, profiling or automated decision-making, and we do not send marketing email unless you ask us to.

5. Sharing

We do not sell or rent personal information, and we do not share it for advertising. We use service providers to run the site: a hosting provider, and the authentication service described in section 2, which holds your credentials on our behalf. If you choose Google sign-in, Google confirms your identity and its own privacy policy covers what it does with that. We may disclose information if we are legally required to.

6. Data about companies

The products, institutions and networks tracked on this site are companies and financial instruments, not people. That information comes from public sources such as regulatory filings, offering documents, licence registers and public blockchains, and each figure links to the document it came from. Where a named individual appears, it is in a public professional capacity as disclosed in one of those documents.

If you believe something we publish about your organisation is wrong, contact us and we will correct it. Our methodology explains how sources are graded and verified.

7. Security and retention

The site is served over an encrypted connection. Passwords are held only as one-way hashes by our authentication service and never by this website. Server logs are kept only as long as needed to operate and secure the service. Account data, including your watchlist, alerts and plan history, is kept while your account exists. Comments are kept while the discussion exists, and moderation records are kept after a comment is removed so that the decision remains auditable. Items stored in your browser stay there until you clear them or they expire.

8. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights over personal data under laws such as the UK or EU General Data Protection Regulation, the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection, Hong Kong’s Personal Data (Privacy) Ordinance, Singapore’s Personal Data Protection Act, or state privacy laws in the United States. These typically include the right to access, correct or delete personal data, to receive a copy of it, and to object to certain processing.

If you have an account, the personal data associated with you is: your email address and, where you used Google, the name on that account, both held by our authentication service; and your display name, plan and plan history, watchlist, alert rules and any comments you have posted, held by this website. Contact us to see it, correct it, export it, or have the account and everything in it deleted. If you have never created an account, there is normally nothing of yours for us to hold.

9. Children

This site is intended for finance professionals. It is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect information from them.

10. Changes to this policy

This is an early build of the product, running on an illustrative dataset. The lists above are accurate for the site as it stands today. If we later add analytics, payments or any further third-party service, we will update this page before those go live and change the date at the top.

11. Contact

For any question about this policy, a correction to the dataset, or a request about personal data, contact us and we will reply. See also our terms and conditions.
